Hello bocapimp,

A few possible thoughts.

1. Check all of your speaker wire connections. It is possible a channel (such as you center channel speaker wire) has come loose. You'll want to check this at both the speaker and the amplifier.

2. You may also want to perform a system reset, though keep in mind that this function will erase all of your stored settings, so yuo may wish to write them down before hand so that your Model 990 may be reconfigured quickly.

If I understand a description of your problem correctly, you might also want to try swapping channels at the amplifier. If by switching around amp channels the low output moves elsewhere, then you might have a problem with the Crown.

Hey, where'd my Step 3 go??

Peter's right. It may also be a failing amplifier. Before swapping the cables at the amplifier, make sure both the pre-amp and the power amp are off. You may also want to give your amplifier a couple of minutes to completely discharge its capacitors to avoid potentially shorting the input or output stages of your electronics.

Ouch! At least you've isolated the source of the problem...
