My 990 all the sudden reverted to Dolby Headphone for all sound and I there is no sound through the speakers. When you go into the menu on the 990 surround it is set to Dolby Headphone on all inputs and it will not let me change it. On the remote you can not set up any of the surround modes, it just shows dolby headphone. I assume it is some type of software glitch but wondered if anybody had this happen to them before. Any help appreciated.

Hold down "MUTE" for about five seconds - you are in headphone mode.

With all of this headphone talk I figured I could play some guitar hero at night with the headphones on so I plugged them in and the red icon did not go off and the headphones did not play. Thanks! you saved me having to dig out the manual to figure out what was wrong.

I got sound but strumming the guitar wakes up my lady anyway so that didn't work :rolleyes:
