[/b] Gonk, Thanks for the clarification. What I meant to convey was that there are some DVD players where the basic setups can be accessed from their one-line displays, SACD,DVD-A, two-channel, multi-channel modes but definitely not all the submenus such as bass management, language or subtitle modes where a monitor definitely will be needed. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused in my previous post.
