Ordered mine on a Monday and it arrived the following Saturday via FedEx Home Delivery and I am in the San Francisco Bay Area. So to N.C. I would expect no more than 2-3 business days. I made sure that I gave Outlaw my e-mail address so that I could receive the tracking information. Definitely enjoying the new found sounds with my Outlaw Audio / Parasound combination.

Still waiting to hear if they will do the firmware update prior to shipping, no emails since the intial order.

Firmware update was easy. Wouldn't worry too much about it.

Got my unit last evening, haven't had time to unpack it yet ........ Darn job!

It does have sticker on it saying it was opened for inspection, hopefully this means the firmware was updated. I will post my thoughts this weekend when I actually have time to set it up in my system.

Sorry to keep bumping my own thread but after getting the 990 into my rack and up and running.... all I can say is WOW. I am a very happy customer. I have a lot of threads to read inorder to catch up. A couple of issues, but I will search before asking.

Glad to hear you like your 990 purchase. I like mine a lot as well. It's definitely not going back especially since I already sold my old home theater processor. ENJOY!
