The months to either side of the end of the year do tend to generate more activity around here, I think - people shopping for or buying new toys around the holidays and then asking questions about how to set them up. New product announcements do a lot, too, but typically the biggest impact of those is for surround receivers or processors (both due to the higher-profile nature and the greater complexity that leads to more questions). The RR2150, amps, and speakers tend to generate fewer questions because there's less to figure out - and the fewer questions there are, the fewer people who are likely to wander in here and introduce themselves.
We're very pleased with how the playground turned out - it was a busy few weekends getting that monster built. I just stopped to think about it: between that project, widening our driveway a bit (including two new retaining walls), a promotion at work (which officially takes effect tomorrow, although I won't move my office until I get back from a vacation in a couple weeks), several big projects at work, preparing for a certification test (
LEED for any of you architecture or construction types out there, which I thankfully passed yesterday), and keeping up with a two-year-old it's been a more hectic spring around here than I think I quite realized. I guess that explains why our Netflix discs have been hanging around a bit longer than usual before getting watched and mailed back.
