I have logged a support ticket. Just wondering if it is just me or is the firmware download system down? I can't seem to get past the authentication page.

Hi trailertrash, did you type in yor serial number from the back of your 990?

Yeah, is there a special format to do it in? I typed it exactly as it appears on the machine: "MODEL990(A)IL(A)....."

TrailerTrash, Did you ever get it to work? I finally allocated time this afternoon to write down all my settings in preparation for the upgrade and when it came time to download, I ran into the same problem you did. But I'm a little confused because my S/N format is simply "99000605..." with not MODEL990... in front of it as yours seems to have. I got the "Forbidden: You don't have permission to access /cgi-bin/990validate.pl on this server" error.
Don't know when I'll find the time to upgrade again and I really want to see if the upgrade fixes some of my little issues...

Marc, Just tried it again, same error as before, the exact one you typed out.

you just type in 990 than the rest of the serial number than it should come up,otherwise log a supprt ticket and let them know, good luck,

Hi again, I just tried it myself and got the forbidden thing too, log a ticket and tell them.
