You'll like it, I use the same combo and love it, only wish I could by a new Faceplate for my 755 (the 7500 one) so it matches the 990 a little better.

It took me a year to decide too. I have the 990 connected to a... ahem... non-Outlaw amp... but regardless, I love the 990. Love it.

Did I mention I love it?

Enjoy it Evan. Most of us are but I have to tell you that I'm in the "took me 9 months to decide" club. You 12 month guys need to be commended I mean, how can anybody wait that long? cool

evan,
Have fun with the new toy. I have had one for a year plus. No regrets. None.
Let us know what you think.

It took me a couple of months to finally pull the trigger on the 990/7700 combo but every since, haven't regretted it in the least. Welcome aboard Evan.

My plan is to finish getting my seven 2200's, get a Salamder rack and then spring for the 990. Right now I have my lil ol' Denon driving four of my 2200's and I can tell a difference. I need to build my audio/visual library though. I'm playing my IPOD off the Denon and I have to admit, it sounds pretty darn good. Gonk, if you are out there would you respond to my post about the necessity of setting up my system again after adding the amps?

Evenin', Dog_lover. Sounds like a nice upgrade process that you've got planned (like many of us have done, picking up a piece at a time). I just saw your post and responded, by the way.
