I think I speak for many of us who read this forum when I thank you for your informed and well-written input to this forum. Your response to my question about the necessity of breaking in a pre-pro is a case in point. Perhaps you might consider a career change from HVAC to one of the magazines that review this equipment? I look forward to your review of the new Outlaw bookshelf speaker systems, perhaps they will send you a pair to demo? Many thanks and my goodwill, Dog_Lover (Craig)

Gonk I think you should be compensated by Outlaw. If you were to miss just a few days here there phones would be continualy ringing for answeres to questions. Me, sometimes I don't even know the question to ask, I'm just looking for answeres.

I second that motion, I don't think I've ever had to pick up the phone for tech support because he has addressed every one of my questions and concerns. He adds a value based service that should be measurable on Outlaw's bottom line. How much $ has he saved them by handling all of these concerns contained in these threads. On a side note, this week he got me resolved on a sound issue being caused by my TIVO, and I don't even think he owns one, that I thought was being caused by my 990.
It's now been moved and seconded that Gonk receive free Outlaw gear for life and get on Outlaw's payrol as their Top Dog Customer service rep!, all in favor say "aye"

second that. I'm actually a little surprised Gonk isn't reaping some benefit from Outlaw. At least make the guy a beta tester! Free stuff to try out? That's the life right there.

I haven't posted in this thread before now because things have been so busy around here lately (mostly three or more overlapping projects at work, but a few other things like our daughter's second birthday, wife's migraine last week, and a sick cat contributed their share over the last few days as well), but I have read it and greatly appreciated the sentiments expressed.
The saloon has grown into an open, supportive community for home theater enthusiasts of any level (from theoretical theaters to modest systems all the way up to the high-end, high-dollar installations). While hanging out here over the last many years (it'll be six years next month!), I've learned a lot, had many very interesting discussions, and made a number of friends - including friends within the Outlaw Audio family.
