I was wondering if anybody out there has a recommendation for a sound card. I am attaching a link for what I think might be a good one, but I would appreciate any advice from somebody with experience. Also, I was wondering how I might get rid of the buzz when listening to streaming radio via my computer and if the new sound card will do that for me. I just received my Belkin PureAV and I was wondering if I should somehow hook up the sound card to that and then to my 990, but how to do it? Thank you - Aaron

You might want to look at www.tracertek.com. They sell some higher end sound cards, including some with balanced inputs, that are a cut above the standard OEM stuff.

M-Audio also makes very good sound cards. The sound card you listed/posted is quite good and should be adequate for what you want to do.

I considered the audiophile soundcard myself but ended up going with e-mu 1212m because it has both optic and coax spdif. they're made mainly for recording but I've heard they put out some of the best sound of any card, great price too. a bit concerned about the drivers though, I've heard of problems with winamp. I'm keeping my old audigy zs also because I don't think the e-mu can pass DD/DTS signals, 2-channel audio only. although the e-mu 404 has DD/DTS passthru so why not the 1212.
