Well, I must say, my very first impression is that the 990 is MUCH more attractive in person than any photos I have seen. Smooth, calm, nice.

I'm still working on setting everything up, but so far it's working smoothly and seems quite straightforward to control.

And it's sounding great with the B&K 200.7 amp, even with my decades-old Advent Graduates.

Thanks to everyone who has offered me advice thus far. I am very happy with this purchase, and eager to hear more of this fine machine.
