Hello Outlaws,

My systems sounds great but I'm not sure if I'm getting optimum performance. As you see in my signature, I'm running ML (Front, Center & Sub) and Monitor Audio surrounds. Currently I have the 990 set to xover the fronts and center at 60hz and surrounds at 100hz. Fronts & Center set to large, Surrounds set to small & L/R+Sub.

Is this best or am I way off?

With the center set to large, you are not crossing anything over to the sub (L/R+Sub will send data to the sub from large mains, but not from any other large speakers) - I'd definitely set the Cinema i to "small" instead, and I'd cross it over higher (the -3dB point is 80Hz, so I'd try 100Hz for it). The Aeon i's have a -3dB point of 43Hz, so the 60Hz crossover is probably fine. I'd probably try setting the Aeon i's to small just to see how that compares to large with sub set to "L/R+Sub", but that's fine-tuning and your preference could very well be to stick with large mains and "L/R+Sub".

Bass management can make a big difference, much like calibration can. Glad to hear that it helped.
