Hello,

Can someone please tell me if the analog inputs process the signal in any way or does the processor just pass it through untouched to the amplifier?

I know about the 7.1 inputs but those are already used by my HD-DVD player.

I bought an expensive CD player and I want to use the DACs on that player and just pass the signal untouched to the amplifier.

The 990 offers a mode called "bypass" that will pass a stereo analog signal all the way through without any processing or A/D/A conversion.
