I hope someone can help. I just setup the 990 and when the system comes on the volume level is at the default level but I can't control the volume from the unit or remote. When I turn the knob or buttons on remote the display shows volume change but sound does not change. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Yes I have sound at the level I set the default level from when the system turns on but I can't control volume from that point.

So if you change the default level and turn the unit off and back on, you get a different volume level, right? If the level does change when you do that, I'd probably try a system reset (turn the unit off and hold down the SELECT and MENU buttons on the front panel for a few seconds). If that doesn't work, I'd contact Outlaw.

That is what happens and I did try the reset. I will call outlaw Monday. Thanks
