I'm in the process of picking up a used 990. I'm pretty sure it is one of the early production units. I believe he aquired it in May of '05. Have there been any changes other than the firmware updates since then & now? The person I'm buying this from does not have the 2nd zone remote or cal mic and is certain they were not included. Could it be possible this unit is a beta test unit? Can anyone confirm if the early units did not come with these? I've searched the forum & see no mention of this. Just trying to get a better understanding of what I'm getting.

May 2005 wold have been among the very first units shipped out (that's the month that I got mine, and I was among the first). There are not any hardware changes that I'm aware of, just the firmware update. The second zone remote and calibration mic were certainly included in mine - if the seller can't track them down, you could call Outlaw's office on Monday morning and find out what would be involved in getting replacements.
