Im buying a monster power hts 3500 power conditioner which is rated at 15 amps over 10 outlets. Is this enough for my home theater setup. I have a 990/7125 combo with a rear projection 57 inch hdtv. I also run a xbox 360 and hd dvr.

Also should I hook my sub up to this as well? Its a klipsch rd-12.

I have the APC American Power Conversion.
H15 1500VA Power Conditioner and like it alot and could have used the H10 1000VA. but have room to add more equipment Because i am only using 280VA with these plugged into it - My Outlaw 990, Oppo DVD DV971H, Hughes HD Direct TV reciever, 42" Panasonic Plasma TV. While the nameplate ratings on all of your system's components will add up to more than 15A (possibly much more), a single 15A circuit is sufficient for nearly any home theater installation. Components like sources and displays will probably consume fairly close to their nameplate ratings (which can be a couple or three hundred watts for a big display but more like 15 to 40 watts for source components). Amps, however, will typically go their entire life without achieving their nameplate power consumption. I've seen a number of reports from people using power conditioners with displays showing the amperage being drawn at any given moment, and even with large amps like an Outlaw 7700 they typically don't see readings higher than 4 to 6 amps at average listening levels. Extremely high volumes still wouldn't crack 10 amps.

It will be important to make sure you plug the amp and the sub into high-current outlets, typically labeled either as "high current" or for connection of amps. These outlets are going to be assured of a high current flow even when the current demand spikes suddenly, so that the power conditioner doesn't restrict the amp's ability to do its job during dynamic passages.

The Xbox can be treated like other components and connected to a low current outlet.
