Currently I'm using a Linn Unidisk SC I bought s/h at a very good price, and it is wonderful for SACD and CD.
It has a basic preamp on board.
Still using the Arcam FMJ P7 7 ch final amp here.
If I had the space I would use it with the FMJ AV8 full preamp- that was a marvelous combination.
Wish my wife would let me get rid of our old records and player (which sits dustily on top of the rack) to get some extra space...

My ideal is still using my 990 and converted-to-230V 1770 Outlaw combination, because as I remember the 990 sounded very good too!
Problem is the sheer weight of the 1770, which made me try to put the transformers in a separate box.
This seems to be a less than ideal solution because of the limited space...
So maybe I'll rethink and weed out my rack.
Or REALLY start building my class D final, wonder what strange quirk in my head makes me listen to music instead of putting on my overalls and start to drill, saw and solder away...
