What is the amp?

Mktheater, the 990's power button doesn't turn it on - only off. Push one of the input buttons on the bottom rows of the remote and the unit turns on. Not exactly intuitive is it? I think the rationale was to save one button-press, but wonder if the Outlaws still believe the convenience has been worth the frustration of first-time users. Cheers.

Yes the amp is the problem. I have the 990 on and went thry the menu and changed the crossovers and such. The only thing that did not come on was the amp.

Did you plug the trigger into trigger 2 instead of trigger 1? Trigger 2 is only active if you've enabled it for specific inputs (handy for things like projection screens, not so much so for amps).

Trigger 1, but then I unplugged the amp and hook it up in another room by itself and it would not power on.

Ouch, sorry to hear. Hope it's an easy fix like a fuse or something.

Not a fuse, I am sending it in tomorrow. They will fix whatever it is. I just wish I can test the 990. Will have to wait until next week.
