I think a nice feature, if it could be worked into a firmware change, would be variable center frequency tone controls. While not as flexible as auto EQ, it would allow more precise compensation for loudspeaker/room interactions. Making available center frequencies in the bass which correpond withj the built in crossover frequencies should work well.
