Tonight for the first time after having the 990 on for about an hour+ it froze up. No audio or video was visable.

THe audio dropped out and the component video coming in from the cable box was just black.

It COULD have been the cable box.. but it was still working.

No audio was coming out, i couldn't hear anything.

So i selected a different video input, DVD. Still nothing. SO i turned off everything. the whole sytem and left it off for 5 mins.

Turned everything back on and it's fine. i am getting a slight jumping effect on nearly everything i watch thru the cable box. Which here again could be the cable/box and not the 990 at all. I'll have to by pass the 990 to be sure.

Just wanted to post this in case anyone else has had any similar problem.

Everything is fine now except the slight jump every 10 seconds while watching digital cable.

Odd - I haven't run into that with my 990.
