While listening to music, if I use the 5 channel stereo option, tons of bass poors out of my sub. When I switch back to stereo my bass is almost non-existant. Why is this? What am I doing wrong. All of my speakers are set to small with the main's crossed at 60.

When in 5-Stereo, you are making copies of the left and right channels that are then crossed over separately from the original left and right channels. The result is 2.5 times as much low frequency material being steered to the sub, which leaves to the sub getting fed more signal than in normal stereo.
