ok,ok,ok its time to upgrade the system, however.......... i currentley am enjoying the outlaw 950 so whith that in mind am i jumping the gun and wanting to upgrade to the 990?? will i hear any diff.?? i know it has more inputs and such but what im really intrested in is sound quality. any comments would be welcomed.

From my experience (moving from a 950 to a 990), you will hear a difference.

Ric, i am always blown away by how well the 990 does for 2 channel stereo listening.. in bypass or upsample mode... stunning sounding.

Ric, you will hear difference for sure. It is extremely quiet comparing with the 950.
