Hi,
for a long time I had been trying to make this purchase(990+7500) but money has been tight recently so decided to start one thing at a time. I want to buy a pre-owned 990.
Q1. Do we have a section on hideout, where I can post my wanted ad.
Q2. Will I get same kind of customer support from outlaw as new customers get ?

Outlaw has asked that the saloon not be used to buy, sell, or trade gear, so this really isn't the place to shop for used equipment. You may want to look at Audiogon - if there aren't classified ads running with 990's for sale, you can post a wanted ad. All of Outlaw's warranties are transferrable, and both Outlaw's customer service team and the crowd around here will treat you the same if you bought the gear used or if you bought it new.

I would highly recommend a "B" stock unit from Outlaw. $999 and free shipping, I do not believe you will find a used 990 at a better price.

And outlawaudio checks them out before they go out again. You absolutely won't go wrong buying a B-stock from outlaws.

Definitely go B stock from Outlaw. Every used one I've seen is only like $50 less if that, and who knows what you're getting with that. Used, around $600 would be worth the chance. Other than that, get it from Outlaw. The thing already sells for half of what similar units sell for, whaddya want?

I bought a B-stock 990 recently and I can't tell the difference between it and a new one. Scott was great to deal with (and actually performed a firmware upgrade himself). It's packed like new, and came without a scratch or a mark.
Lovin' it.
Wife took the money I saved and went shopping....

I also bought a B-stock model, and couldn't be happier. I'm very particular, and wouldn't have been able to tell that it wasn't brand new.
The only problem with it was that the calibration mic was missing, but this was quickly fixed with a phone call.

I am in process of going B stock on a 990 but still in debate mode whether to just go new but it is tempting. I assume they ship with the latest firmware
