I use my headphone output on occasion and I find that it is now stuck in Dolby Movie with Dolby Headphone mode. I can't seem to change to any of the other surround modes or even normal stereo when in headphone mode. When I go back to speaker mode everything is fine. Anyone else have this problem?

Go to the 990's menu and look at "Surround Config" - there's an option for "HP MODE" that controls the surround processing applied for the headphones.

Thanks Gonk. I knew I should have looked into the manual first. I guess I was hoping I could toggle through the modes like other surround modes, not setting it just from the menu. That would be a small but nice change in the next firmware version, the ability to to toggle through the headphone modes while using the headphones.

I am not very familiar with dvc's but I am thinking that its as if you had two woffers instead of one. Its like a 2 in one thing. That stated, Is the following possible?

1 connect the two coils in series so it becomes a 4 ohm load.
2 connect the the amp channels also in seres and get 380 watts for the 4 ohm load.

We used to do this with car amps back in the days. I do not know is the outlaw amp can do this.
