I have the 990 connected to my B&K 7 X 125w Amp via balanced connections. I have the 12V trigger connected. The trigger turns the amp on and off just fine. After a few minutes pink noise will start from the center channel speaker even though the 990 and the power amp are off! Any ideas?

If the amp and 990 are both off, I'd be surprised if it's the 12V trigger. How long does the pink noise last? Also, does it hasppen ifyou unhook the trigger cable?

No Gonk. It stops when I unhook the 12V cable. The pink noise goes until I turn the amp on. Otherwise, it goes on and on.... Very strange deal.

1. Have you ever used a 12v trigger with this amp before?
2. Is the noise still present if you disconnect the trigger cable from the 990 but leave it connected to the amplifier?
3. Is the noise present if you disconnect the input connections from the amp, so that it has no input except the trigger cable?
4. Is the noise present if you disconnect the amp from the AC line, so its only connections to the outside world are the trigger cable and outputs to the speakers? (That would really be a mystery.)
