Learned all commands into my Pronto remote, but the input commands seem a bit dodgy.
Every time I use 7.1 DIRECT things start going wrong: it won't leave this mode, and after repeated presses of other input commands wrong inputs are selected etc.
I don't use the video inputs in setup (you can't set NONE), could that be the issue?
Original remote works fine.
Anybody else?

PS
Somebody wanted to know if you can mix the outputs, yes you can.

Could there be a problem with your Pronto setup? You might try one of the Pronto files from here to check that.

Thanks Gonk,
When I unpack the "pcf files" from your site I only see a lot of bitmaps and an xml file each.
I can't use xml files in Prontoedit, only pcf.
Am I missing something here?

I have a TSU7000 remote that I have programmed all commands from the 990 remote to my Pronto and eveything works fine. I have built seperate IR code pages so if you like I can send it to you.

Since I don't use a Pronto myself, I can't offer much insight into how to properly load the PCF files in the Pronto editor - were you unpacking the file with a program other than the Pronto editor, or did the editor itself break the file into those pieces?

Grimster, if you want to add your config file to the Remote Files page, you can PM me and I'd be happy to host it.

Sorry, but the zip archives do not contain any pcf file...

This weekend I will compare the 990 with the Marantz SR9600, will post in the hideout of course...will also play with the Velodyne SMS-Can't wait!

I sent my Pronto TS1000 setup for the 990 to Remote Central. Here is a link to the page.

http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/fil...hol tz_ccf3.zip

I don't have anything connected to the 7.1 direct inputs but I can switch to 7.1 without the problems you describe.

I know that when I used the unput codes in a macro I had to put pauses before and after the command.

I'm pretty sure the files provided to me for the remotes page aren't zipped - you should be able to download either of the two PCF files and open them in the Pronto editor directly.

Both Gonk and Barend, I sent you both my pcf file to the e-mail address you provided. If you have any problems with it, let me know.

I got the file and have added it to the Remote Files page. Even grabbed a copy of the Pronto editing software so I could look at it. You've got a pretty cool config file there, grimster. wink

Thanks guys, got the codes working fine now.
BTW- Couldn't learn working codes into the Velodyne SMS1 remote, so I picked up the Digital Drive codes on RemoteCentral, which work.
However, the arrows and the set codes are not repeating now, which is a bit irritating; most repeating codes like these must be learned to perform as they should.
Anyone got this working for the Pronto ?
