whooooo hooooooooo
I've been working on my basement finishing project since May 05. From the beginning, I've scoured the internet dreaming of the HT gear I'd purchase to finish it off. Well...within days I'll be looking at a whole bunch of boxes...including of course a 990/7125.

Here is the run down of my soon to be system.

Basement
Outlaw Audio 990/7125 - sccchhhwwwaaaaaannnggggg
Oppo Digital 971 DVD
Belkin PF60 (power protection/conditioner)
Sony KDS-R60XBR1
NHT L5 x 4 (on wall speakers L&R plus rears)
NHT M5 - center
NHT U2 - dual 12" passive subs, X1 cross over, 2 x A1 amps.
Salamander Designs Triple 20 - credenza to hold everything
Canare dies, cables and RCA connectors to hook it all up.

Rest of the house
Great room
NHT 1.3a - powered by the 990/7125 Zone 2 and extra two amps

Patio and Deck
Proficient Audio AW650s powered by 1995 Dennon AVR2800

Master Bath , Master Bed (Boston Acoustic in ceiling) and Kitchen Speakers (NHT Super Zeros)
Powered by Haffler DH200 via Niles IM Vol controls and dist system.

I just needed to share...I'm all a quiver in anticipation.

heprat,

Just wondering what you're using for your 2nd zone power amp(s). Am looking for a "cost affective" way to power my 2nd zone. Thanks

You are going to love the Outlaw/NHT combo. I recently went on a Speaker demo/buying spree with the likes of Revel, Rocket and Paradigm. Ended up back with NHT and am very happy. Get us some pictures when you get it all up and running.

forgot to ad...pool table (Connelly Prescot) to be delivered and set up tonight smile

MainleyOutlaw...I'm running a 5.1 setup in the main area with a 7125 amp ...the two left over amps will power the "second zone". My "third zone" is going to be my 11 year old Denon AVR2800. I will use the A/B outs to run the patio and deck speakers.
For an economical extra amp...do an audiogon or ebay search for Hafler. I got a Hafler DH200 (100 watts per channel) for $100 on ebay. Very nice and sturdy amp from the 80s. I'm using this for my "fourth zone" which is the kitchen/master bed/master bath.
