barend Gunslinger Registered: 05/20/05 Posts: 112	Nice to see the 990 having balanced outputs and the 1770 having ditto inputs...this will prevent many cases of hum and noise to raise their ugly heads... It would be nice though to see a few balanced inputs on the 990 (my CDP has balanced outputs), but I guess that would cause switching problems... Maybe I can link my CDP to the 7700 with a balanced cable, but I'd need a volume pot extra... So guys, here you see a nerd's brains running wild and making trouble where none existed...

Just go unbal out to unbal in. And if someone knows why this item would be helpful I'd like to know. OTOH the TASCAM LA-80 unbalanced to balanced is useful.
