My 990 has worked perfectly when I used component wires for DVD and Cable. But I decided to try DVI connections from my cable box to the 990. The 990 passes the signal thru perfectly, the picture is great, but now the 990 refuses to switch back and forth between DVI and Component. Its just stuck on DVI cable input. The only way I can get it switching again is to disconnect the DVI and reconnect the component wires like before. How do I get my 990 to switch between DVI on one input and Component on another? Thanks a lot! Sam Zeoli

The 990 does not transcode analog video signals (s-video, composite, or component) to the DVI output - the DVI switching is completely independent. When using both component and DVI, you'll also need to switch your TV between the component and DVI connections.
