The Outlaws are pleased to announce that a software upgrade is now available for the Model 990 processor/preamp. As previously noted, this software adds some new features such as the ability to rename the audio inputs, makes the unit easier to operate by displaying the lip sync delay time in the front panel display and most importantly, it corrects issues with the bass management.

The software is available to all Model 990 owners at no charge. However, you will need to enter your unit’s serial number before downloading the files, so we suggest that you look at the label on your unit’s back panel and make a note of it at this time. The download is available at the “support/FAQ” section of the Outlaw Audio web site, http://www.outlawaudio.com/support/index.html

Outlaw Audio is the only company offering downloadable, in-home software upgradeability for all of its multichannel processors and receivers. We believe that this is a key feature and will continue to take advantage of it in the months ahead.
