Thanks gonk and unpossible. I am looking at the T163/T973 combo. I don't have an affinity for NAD, but the shop where I bought my speakers is an NAD dealer, and that is what was powering them when I did my listening. The speakers sounded great (which is why I got them) with NAD power, but they sound pretty close with the 25 year old Sony receiver I am currently using.
