Howdy all

I'm a new proud owner of a 990 pre/pro, and awaiting the delivery of my 7500 amp. It can't arrive soon enough!

I own a couple of Tivos and I usually use the optical output for audio. However, for Dolby stuff, the "boop boop" menu noises don't come out the optical outputs. With my old Yahama, I was able to also hook up the analog outputs of the Tivos and set the Yamaha to an "auto detect". Then, when I went to the Tivo menu sections, the Yamaha automatically switched to the analog inputs and I was able to hear the menu boop boops. Does the 990 offer this? It's not a big deal, but I'd definitely prefer it.

As far as I can tell, you can't do that with the 990. You can only assign one audio source for each input.

Cheers,
