I'm running Paradigm Monitors with my 990 (monitor 11 mains, cc370 center, adp370 surrounds). Subwoofer is on the small side, a Paradigm pdp-10. (subwoofer upgrade is next on the list)

Currently, I have the mains set to large, crossover point at 60hz. Recommendations on what I should set the pdp-10's crossover at? Its variable between 50-150hz, i have it set approximately 60hz. (hard to tell, as only the 50 and 150 are marked on the dial)

Any other monitor 11 owners out there? What settings do you use?

With the 990 already applying a crossover, the sub's crossover becomes somewhat unnecessary (it is intended to deal with a full-range input signal, not an already low-passed signal). I would recommend setting the sub's crossover as high as possible - all the way up to 150Hz. This will keep the sub's crossover from interfering.

I have Paradigm Studio/60's, which I crossed over at 60Hz for a long time. I recently changed my crossover to 80Hz, but that was due to a separate issue (my SMS-1 revealed a room null at around 63Hz, which I could correct by moving the crossover up to 80Hz and equalizing the sub's signal around the null).

Hey Gonk,
Since i'm blonde, there are times when i miss things...
SlaggEm noted his settings for the mains are 'large w/ a cross over @ 60Hz'.
I thought 'large' meant full frequency to any speaker using this setting. Therefore the 60hz crossover does nothing. Yes/no?

Good point, tmdlp - I saw the crossover point and missed the "set to large".

SlaggEm, I'd suggest changing your speakers from "large" to "small" - that way, the crossover will actually be active. The Monitor 11's are good sized speakers, but I wouldn't consider them up to the task of running as large (-3dB point is 35Hz and -2dB point is 48hz).
