Sup Ladies & Gentlemen. I'm a new and very happy owner of the 990. I believe I've gotten my head around many of the new features and learned a bit on the way. The forum has been a great resource. If anyone can help me with two remote codes, I'd appreciate it.

Yamaha S2500 DVD Audio/Video Playher
Xbox with remote addon.

With the Yamaha S2500 I tried to set-it-up under AUX and went through the manual process of each code with no success. Any suggestions?

I haven't tried the Xbox, but assume it's not supported.

Try code 0522 for the X Box and 0539 for the Yamaha

does anyone have the the code for a samsung satellite box SLR=TS160 for use with the 990

Does the 1109 code not work? That's the only Samsung satellite code I can find for a JP1-based remote.

I have several relatives that tend to "collect" stuff (we have a long-standing joke in the family about "the shed" that refers to a very large structure up in Illinois), and I sometimes suspect that whatever "collecting gene" is responsible for that is also behind my tendency to collect information (books, CD's, web site links, PDF manuals, ...). Fortunately my collecting tendencies aren't particularly space-consuming (although I never seem to have enough bookshelves).
