I presently have the crossover on the 1050 set to 80 but had a question about it. On the specs that came with my B&W's which of the two do I go with when setting the crossover

1. Frequency Range … -6dB at 50Hz and 30kHz
2. Frequency Response … 65Hz-20kHz +/- 3dB

80hz seems to work the best if speakers are capable of that frequency. Yours go down to 50hz so 80hz should be fine, you can change it around and see where it sounds best but so far 80hz seems to work well for me.

Basically the lower the frequency, the harder it is locate the sound in the room. That's why when you get much above 80hz on the crossover, it becomes more obvious where the sub is located-the sound becomes more directional. I second the mmeyer, that the 80hz crossover should be fine with your setup.
