I am trying to hookup my xbox 360 to my projector via the 990. The reason for this is the xbox 360 cables are too short to connect directly. So I put the xbox 360 cables into the component dvd connectors on the 990. I have component cables connected to the video out connectors on the 990. I am getting a message that the signal is out of range. When the xbox is directly connected to the projector everything works fine. With three relays the 990 video section says it has unlimited bandwidth. So what's the problem?

Did you choose the correct video input type (component) on the DVD input using the GUI menu?
