Thanks, gonk, that was very helpful. I found the the items you mentioned on Xantech's site, but strangely enough I've never seen these items carried in any of the stores/webstores I've visited that carry Xantech.

I've worked on comparable products from Parasound and B&K that didn't run into this incompatibility. Even though the argument could be made that this isn't Outlaw's problem, I would think this is something Outlaw would want to document in some way, since they do mention the manufacturers by name.
