I have a new Outlaw 990 and a DirectTV Hughes Receiver and was wondering if Outlaw has ther own remote codes or if there is another Audio remote codes that will work with the 990.
i would like to program the AUX button on the DirecTV remote for Volume on the 990?
I hate to have the family learn a new remote or could you tell me what remote would be the best or easyest to learn like a Theather Master
MX-500 or a Harmony remote

I don't think that the DirecTV remote will include codes for Outlaw equipment. On the other hand, my wife still says that the best purchase we ever made for the home theater was the MX-500 (under $85 from bluedo.com). The MX-700 is even better (and can be had from surfremote.com for around $160), but the added features do take a little more setup to get settled in. Not to detract from the Harmony remotes - they're very popular, as well.
