Sorry if this has been covered but I cannot seem to find the .pcf file for the 990. I did find a post from yankeedan and have PM'd but I thought I would see if anyone else happened to have this little treasure lying around. Any help would be much appreciated...

Sorry, can't help here - I've got an MX-700 file, but nothing for the Pronto. Will the Pronto software import an MX-700 .mxd file?

Have you tried www.remotecentral.com ???

When I had my pronto they were a great resource.

Thanks for the help but unfortunately I came up empty on Remote Central - that's usually where I start digging. Looks like it's going to be the old fashioned way for me.

I appreciate the effort guys - depending on whether or not I follow through, I'll contact Steve and see if they would host the file here locally to help the next poor Pronto victim...

Hi all. Just got my 990 today, after some set-up issues, now got it working. Sound is decades ahead of my older adcom processor, can't wait to play some more.

I have issues with the file hosted by Gonk, .xml instead of .ccf or .pcf file I'm used to dealing with. Does anyone have a ccf or pcf to share for my Pronto 3000?

I'm not real familiar with the Pronto software, but Dogwizard\'s file is a .pcf file. Is there something wrong with it?

When I unzip the file, I get an .xml file, plus several bitmap files (.bmp), not a .pcf. I could be doing something wrong...

It's not zipped - the extension is .pcf. If it is unzipping, then it sounds like Philips is using a zipped file format to contain multiple config files (the .xml to define where commands exist in screen and the .bmp to define the screen's appearance). Save the original file as a .pcf file and try that.

Thanks Gonk. I renamed Dog Wizard's file from .zip to .pcf, and it works! Not sure why it downloads as a .zip to my harddrive...
