i have a Denon AVR2600 that i have been very pleased with. a buddy of mine has the amp(750?) and we were talking about the 1050. and got me thinking about it. now my question is.
will that(1050) unit run my Paradigm 11seMKIII's, and my CC300, and Atoms.
more worried about the center and left and rights... the sub takes care of itself
500 bucks isent that much to spend but hate to waste it on a unit i will not be happy with.
cant remeber my Sony DVD unit and Sony VCR model numbers or i would post those to. but they are about 4 years old and are needing to be upgraded too.
but what got me really interested is the DTS because a guy i trusted several years ago told me it would catch on.(dont ask why or where he got his info) and my DVD player that is all it has and its 4 years old at least.

Worried about the 65W per channel? I have driven Paradigm Studio 60's, Studio/CC, and (3) Studio/ADP's with the 1050 and been very pleased indeed. It should handle your speakers fine unless you have a really, really big room.

Max,

You have NOTHING to worry about. I just received mine today all I can say is, "What a difference". The 1050 is driving B&W's up front and two Sony's (I will be upgrading) in the back. I really is an amazing product. You'll be glad you went for it.

I have run Maggie's and now Paradigms with my 1050 and it is no trouble. I do run a large 2 channel amp for my fronts now but it is not necessary. That's the beauty, for 500 bucks you have a starting point, you can be satisfied with it as is or upgrade 1 piece at a time without breaking the bank. The 1050 seems to do everything very well. And yes DTS rocks!
