It's likely that none of the developing formats, unfortunately, will make any better than 480p on analog outputs. I long for the day when all video formats and all TVs played nice together. Considering the money people shell out for HDTVs, it's a shame that some of them will end up with (for all practical purposes) an EDTV with these developing formats. Too many greedy chefs in the kitchen.
Oh, and you're right on about the X360. That part of the HD-DVD equation is, in fact, speculation in the article. There I go again :rolleyes:
