I am new to the DVI connector and signal things so bear with me.
I have two sources that have DVI output, DVD and HDTV rcvr, but only one DVI input into the television. Are there any aggregators/splitters out there for DVI that can help me get both signals to the television?

Samsung HLN507W (TV)
Samsung SIRTS160(HDTV RCVR)
Marantz DVD 8400 (DVD)(to be delivered soon!)

This would be the easiest way (in my opinion) to do this one, but others may have a better suggestion.

Thanx for the link. I wonder if there is signal degredation with a device like this? For PCs a little signal loss is not a big deal, but for by visual entertainment it could be an issue.

Also, for those in the know, is there a huge difference between the PC RGB connection vs. the DVI? The television has both and so does the HDTV receiver. I opt to use the PC connection for the HDTV signal and the DVI for the DVD.

Just to take peak at the DVI connection with a DVD player, I went and snagged the Samsung 931 DVD player with DVI out. I noticed some difference compared to the RGB and S-video. I hope the Marantz 8400 give me picture worth the extra cash! Rumor has the Denon 5900 will have DVI out activated, maybe I should audition them both?

I would expect signal degradation to be a serious issue on a PC -- if you are running (for example) a 21" display at 1600x1200 resolution on a graphics intensive application (CAD, ...) and staring at it for hour upon hour, you want it as crisp and accurate as possible.

Is the DVI connection analog or digital? I'm not sure about all of the intricacies of the two interfaces, but there is one immediate difference: RGB/VGA is analog, whereas DVI can be digital or analog.
