Here's my set up (see below). The Outlaws made it sing! Playing SACD is incredible. TELARC has done some fantastic engineering using DSD/SACD. I'm very pleased with the Outlaws driving this system.

I've recently purchased a house and it seems like I might need to trade my speakers for something a bit smaller in size (due to room constraints).

I could keep larger mains and center, but the surrounds are the deciding factor. I'll have to go from 7.1 to 5.1 (maybe 6.1) if I can find the right size.

How many of you are running something that would be considered small...Anyone have any suggestions for a good setup that is small yet packs a punch for ht and music?

tim, i'm running b&w 601's up front, soon to be replaced by 602's.they do the job for ht,but the music is where they shine.a bit pricey for the size, but worth it.

forgot which post this was, don't have a 990,just making a suggestion. smile

Outlaw Tim,

Here are a couple of brands that may fit the bill:

Totem Acoustic-
Mite- Soft Dome Bookshelf- very small
Rainmaker- Metal Dome Bookshelf
Arro- Very Narrow Soft Dome Floorstander

Dynaudio-
Audience 42- Great little Bookshelf Speaker Soft Dome tweeter
Audience 52- Big brother to 42

Paradigm-
Studio 20- Metal Dome Tweeter bookshelf, I have v1, they are up to Version 3.

Vienna Acoustics- Haydn Grand- Soft Dome Tweeter Bookshelf Speaker.

I really go back and forth with the whole soft dome / metal dome speaker. Totem Acoustic makes fine equipment. I took small to mean Bookshelf size or small floorstander.

Good Luck..

I would post my system, but I dont have a 990 (yet, maybe in the winter)
