and yes, I did get my order (checked after Obiwan said he got his..) and processed it after about 30 minutes of toggling between Ground and Air. Went air..

So for all you Outlaw wanabees out there. it looks like we are up to 9.18pm Tue 19th on the wait list.

Congratulations Trikos! Good things come to those who wait. You were admirably patient considering how much you seemingly wanted it. I look forward to hearing your impressions.

Pulled the trigger at 20:00 today. I went with the 990/755. I just don't have room for the 6th and 7th channel. Someday when I get the "four" little monsters out of school I may have a place for a home theater. Until then we will enjoy the five channel DD with SVS sub.

That's excellent news! Congrats, trikos - of course, now we may start bugging you for your impressions and for pics of the 990 in your setup.

Hello folks. My "waitlist" email was May 13th. Based on what I am reading...it will be "forever" before I get an invitation to order. Thanks everyone for keeping us posted on "waitlist" progress so we can all get an idea of where we stand in line.

Obviously I don't know how many are ahead of you, but the days are accelerating and since it was indicated that things were weighted toward the beginning, it may be sooner than you think.

Pulled the trigger yesterday afternoon as well - 990/770.... hoping it puts my marantz to shame or the wife will kick me into the downstairs bedroom... hey wait, the 990/770 will be down there, its a win win situation!

BTW - anyone using any of the Harmony remotes with the 990/770? Can you use a remote for the 770???? Was doing the demo for their remote and the 770 was listed under amps....

Great news! Congrats, Obiwan. Let us know how it compares.. From what I have seen for reviews, it looks like its eBay for your Marantz..

The 770 amp has a 12V trigger input that connects to the 990 - so when the 990 is on, so is the 770. I have no idea why they'd list it in a remote code database.

Thanks gonk..that is what I had guessed, but thought I had it wrong after looking at the code database...

Does the 12v trigger cable come with, or am I on my own for that?

Typically, Outlaw includes a 12V trigger with their amps when you get an amp and processor at the same time, so you should be good to go right out of the box. I got my Model 750 prior to that policy change, but I just used a $3 Radio Shack cable that I already had lying around.
