Hey everybody, i just ordered my 990 today, and can't hardly wait, i was wondering how long on average is it taking to receive the 990 once it's ordered ? Thanks alot, Reade.

My shipping,

Ordered sunday, had the box wednesday afternoon, and I live in West Virginia (almost Kentucky), they shipped fedex.

I guess it would depend on of you go for overnight shipping (I did) or not.

Fedex has had my 990 for 5 days and their website shows that it hasn't even left California yet, unless they haven't been updating the tracking for this package.

I went for overnight shipping ($$$, I know), as I have house guests for a while coming on Wednesday and wanted it here sooner rather than later I think it took 3 days from ordering.

I did not go for overnight shipping.... guess that i got lucky...

I hear ya, my LFM1 has been sitting in LA since the 18th.. Bah!

Mine went UPS.. Maybe they are just REAL bad at updating their records..

Since it shipped from L.A. I did regular shipping and it got here in 3 days.

What part of the great north are you located? Anywhere near Boston (relatively speaking)? I think they ship from there too.

I am about the same distance from LA, as LA is from St Paul, MN (about 2000 Miles) and even farther from Boston (about 2300 Miles)

According to maps.yahoo.com you are 280 miles..

I ordered it on the 20th and I got it like in one day. It was crazy and the wife real happy as you can imagine. Oh really someone got a new toy!

It appears Outlaw will not ship to Canada via air, so we will have to wait for the 990 via wagon train across the northern US plains..

You also have to factor that when it gets to customs, it will sit there for the better part of a week. Looks like my 7100 will come from LA and the 990 from Boston. Haven't got my tracking number on those yet..

Well, either Fedex has a time machine out there in California or they just don't keep their website updated for tracking 'cause my 990 has arrived and left St.Paul, MN today before even leaving California.

Looks like I may be getting my 990 tomorrow.

It went to Fredericton, NB Canada. Which is the same distance from me, as New York is from LA... Or about 10 spits..

Great, have to wait a few days to give Ooops a greater chance of lossing my 770 and 990 . They got both yesterday in LA (looks like Outlaw has stock of 990's in both locations now!).

So, hmmm, got it yesterday, moved it to LA. LA UPS, sorry Ooops, will sit on it and do nothing for 2 days... 4 days to minneapolis... wait for Ooops to loose documenation...but at least I'm only 1 day from Minneapolis (Winnipeg).... so should be in city by next Friday hopefully...

I'm always worried dealing with UPS - had them and heard of them losing way too many packages. Though how do you lose a 105lb box?

Update:

I don't know about in the US, but they are notorious for lost, broken shipments in Canada.. Most look like the package in Ace Ventura..

I am not sure if this means its in Winnipeg or Frederiction (about 2000 miles from each other). But its still a day from Winnipeg to me.. If it start moving again..

7 Days and counting..

Its in Winnipeg - for the most part, all packages, UPS/FedEx etc move from Minne to Winnipeg (transport hub) and then sent out. Try tracking an air shipment with UPS or Fedex. The package will actually come to Winnipeg BEFORE going back to Minne to clear customs just to come back to Winnipeg.... not sure who came up with that bright idea!

Ordered mine yesterday, was waiting for me when I got home today.

Looks like your's only spent 16 hours in Minneapolis. Mine has sat in St.Paul for nearly 2 days and tomorrow will be the 7th day in the hands of Fedex.

Almost 36 hrs now in LA with Oops... I think they get the 105lb 770 in and then are too lazy to move it again!

Update:

Almost got my LFM1, but was not home at the moment the delivery arrived, so I changed it to customer hold for pickup. But of course since its on the truck, I can't pick it up till tomorrow...

Thats 8 days for UPS to Canada for anyone else waiting...

My 990 is still showing "billing only" status at UPS since the 24th, so four days no movement..

Let me know if you get any updates on your 990... I've got a 990 and a 770 'stuck' there since the 24th as well... glad to see customers are still paying for Ooops' extrodinary service!

From what I hear, UPS is not the greatest at keeping their records up to date on their web site. Judging by my LFM1 delivery, there was long bits of silence, then a call for customs clearance, it showed crossing the boarder and a yellow sticker showed up on my door the next day. It seems something is happening, we just don't see it..

Since Monday is a US holiday, I am sure it will delay the process even more..

I always found Fed-Ex better at showing the progress of your package..

I will keep you up to date..

Even though its a holiday in the US today, I did get a call from UPS to clear customs. My LFM1 took one day after that to reach my door.

UPS tracking went from "Billing Status" to the border with no information in between. So they must use the "Beam me up Scotty" method..

LOL - called 'Oops' today to see if they have an update and ask them if they can hold the units at the Winnipeg hub (as I live JUST out side of town, they sub-contract to a company about 30 minutes FARTHER away then the UPS hub, but I digress). 990 is scheduled for delivery today, hmmm...but it has not cleared customs...hmmm... package has not been scanned since the 25th (website only has an update on the 24th but it was late so could be an east/west coast thing)... 770 scheduled for delivery tomorrow, but again no scans. Said for me to call back later today or tomorrow and see if there are any updates, if not they are going to have to do a trace on the package.

Packages are now in Winnipeg and on route - Oops could not hold the package for me, so at least a couple more days to wait before I can actually catch a driver at my house...

Brokerage fees are HUGE! $253.49 for the 990 and $383.22 for the 770, ouch, add that to the not so great exchange rate (why couldnt the 990 come out a couple of months earlier, hmm?) and I and the wife better REALLY like the combo (not that I doubt that I will) just need to complain about the extra guaging by Revenue Canada.

Mine is in Winterpeg too! But my 990 GST/Brokerage/Duty was $165.03, hmmm

My 990 is also here! Though the 770 apparently is somewhere between Minniapolis and Winnipeg - though I was told yesterday it was in in Winnipeg... gotta love ups.

All I can say is the unit looks nice and powers up fine... about all I can do till the 770 arrives!

The 990 is estimated to arrive 6/23 and I return from DC on 6/23. Should be fun. Will report on set-up and impressions.

My 990 shipped June 20th and arrived via FedEx the morning of June 23rd.

Shipped on 6/22, received today, 6/28. But that's misleading, as two (7100, cables) of my four packages (990, 7100, cables, LFM-1) were actually on the Fedex Home delivery truck last Friday (6/24). Fedex tried to deliver to my apartment building after the loading dock closed (all shippers are supposed to know our hours--it's a big complex), and then tried again on Saturday when it's never open. I found this out on their tracking website, and complained to Fedex customer service. They sent an email to the depot reminding them what the right hours are (last night), and voila, both arrived today (along with the 990 via UPS). Now I just have to get my rack set up, and get the time to play! (Those are heavy buggers!)

Reserved 06/21, invited 06/23, ordered 06/23, supposedly shipped 06/24 or 06/27 (likely 06/24), arrived 06/27 (next day shipping with a weekend inbetween), hooked up 06/27.
