First let me start by saying that I am still waiting for an e-mail to order the damn thing. Here's a thought, pick up the pace!... smile

Anyways, I would like to put a set of speakers in the dining room and drive them from the 990 (using two M200 amps which I would have to purchase.).

What I would really like is a touch panel in the dining room to control the 990 for zone 2 only. It would also have to control the SAT (HR-250)and the DVD player (Sony 975). That's it. Would someone point me in the right direction? I don't want to have a hand held remote in the dining room, instead everything should be done on the panel.

Thanks.

Most systems, such as Oxmoor's Zon system and NetStreams' Musica, offer full-function touchpads with IR control of components, but they both rely upon a proprietary control component to route the signals appropriately. You can expect to pay in the realm of $1K for a basic setup for these.

The musica is nice in that it is networked, so once connected it can be controlled via PC.
