If you are already have a reservation take the 990 for the 30 days. As the owner of both the 950 and now the 990, I would be surprised if after the trial period that you would be inclined to spend more money to purchase another pre-pro. Just before the announced release of the 990, I was considering the purchase of a higher end pre-pro. I now have the 990 in the theater room and cant imagine spending more money.
