I understand that not all HD shows are in DD, but the thing that confuses me is that it lets me select Dolby Digital when on those channels, but forces me to use the wide mode with it? If it wasn't encoded in DD, I don't see how I could be able to select it? I guess I am just going to have to assume that the manual is a bit misleading and that Dolby Digital + Dolby VS 5 SP Wide is a DSP like DPLII and not real "Dolby Digital".

B&W 700 Guy Deputy Gunslinger Registered: 05/14/05 Posts: 2 Loc: Souther California	JED M, I think you are correct, because this is a new firmware, it maybe programmed "Bug" and treat that setup as a "Mode". Have you noticed if the subwoofer volume output changes between "Stereo", "DD/DTS" and "Dolby ProLogic? I know with the New Castle P965 that there could be a 9Db change in subwoofer volume.

I did find some strange anomalies with the auto setup feature but they are probably user errors. Has anybody else had wildly different results when running the auto eq more than once?
