No "Gear Head" here but check out this link: teslamotors.com. This car is bad ass!! For about a 100 G's you can have one too. Cost prohibitive?? Perhaps. But keep in mind, this company has come out of mid-air to production from 2003 to present so of course the prices are going to come down. Next model (4 door soccer mom sedan) will be in the 50 G range and I have heard they are eventually going to offer the $20,000 car sometime in 2009-2010 time frame. They also offer a "Solar Option" with the purchase of the car that will generate about 400 miles a week. That means if you dont drive 400 miles a week then you're energy positive.
