If it has neither, then you're not going to be able to do anything to create a trigger for your Panamax (at least without major surgery). The only option I know of for triggering without a switched outlet or a 12V trigger is something like the Craftsman 24031 auto switch. You could potentially use one of these and an AC adapter to trigger something - an AC adapter rated for 9V or 12V will produce a constant DC "signal" that can serve as a trigger. It's not a trick I've ever tried, but others have done it with the switched outlets on receivers.
