On a side note, just so everyone knows the varying opinions I've received...
Some have said that the DVD player's test signal generated from the DVD is best because that is the source that creates the soundtrack for the movies I watch.
On the other side of the fence, others have said that the noise signal generated from the 990's own test signal is best becuase that is the unit that decodes the DVD's audio signal. Therefore, that signal is the optimal source to calibrate my system.
I feel better now...
